The EPOS Artistry Sapphire Crystal Skeleton Hand-Wound Watch
This limited edition EPOS Artistry Sapphire Crystal Skeleton Hand-Wound Watch is a true marvel of watchmaking artistry. The VERSO 2 features EPOS's in-house Verso modification, based on a semi-skeletonised Unitas 6497 hand-wound movement. The EPOS watchmakers have ingeniously moved the hour and minute hands to the back of the movement and inversely fitted it into the case. This unique configuration allows for an unobstructed view of the balance wheel and movement through the watch face.
The sophisticated 'Emotion' case, measuring 43.5mm in diameter, showcases signature grooves on the sides and a screwed-on strap. The fully polished stainless steel case is topped with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with a small second hand, visible through the see-through mineral crystal on the case-back, that doubles as a pulsometer.
Perhaps the most striking feature is the three-part dial with its elaborate 3-dimensional design. A blue lacquered sunray stainless steel plate forms the base, engraved with the limited edition number. This is complemented by a nickel-colored container housing a white lacquered disk with the hour and minute hands, offering an unimpeded view of the stunning mechanical skeleton movement.
